  OUR PROGRAMS

Friends of the Potomac is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with government, private, agricultural, and nonprofit groups throughout the Potomac watershed. We believe that natural, cultural, and historic resources are at the core of strong, healthy communities. As such, we work with communities to help integrate seemingly contrasting goals to develop and implement their own visions for the future.

Friends assists organizations in reaching their goals through training and community partner workshops, consultation, technical assistance, and outreach.
